Quests

Rescuing Gundren Rockseeker/Finding Cragmaw Castle – Multiple sources have seen the Cragmaw goblins taking Gundren Rockseeker to Cragmaw Castle. You have a generally good idea of where the castle is located. Sildar Hallwinter is offering 500gp if the party can defeat or drive off the tribe’s chieftain.

Old Owl Trouble – Daran Edermath has heard rumors of prospectors in the hills northeast of Phandalin digging around Old Owl Well. They’ve found some gold, but they’ve also been chased away by the undead. An old watchtower of an ancient magical empire known as the Netheril, Daran is concerned that dangerous magic might be dormant there.

Halia’s Job Offer – Halia Thornton of the Phandalin Miner’s Exchange has offered you 100gp to eliminate the Redbrand leader, Glasstaff, and bring her any correspondence found in the leader’s quarters. She believes the Redbrand hideout is in or near Tresendar Manor. But the party has suspicions about Halia, even if they’re not sure what. You killed Glasstaff in a fight in the Redbrand’s hideout and recovered correspondence between Glasstaff and the Black Spider.

The Banshee’s Bargain – Sister Garaele of the Shrine of Luck is looking for an old spellbook.

Orc Trouble – Townmaster Harbin is looking for someone to head east on the Triboar Trail where travelers have reported trouble with a band of orcs near Wyvern Tor. He offers 100gp to any group that can take care of the problem.

Finding Iarno – Sildar Hallwinter accompanied Gundren Rockseeker to Phandalin so he could find what happened to his Lords’ Alliance colleague Iarno Albrek. Dispatched by the Alliance so that Albrek could scout the area, he went missing several months ago. Hallwinter describes Albrek as “a short, dark-bearded human wizard in his thirties.” Hallwinter wants to find and bring back Iarno, or whatever might be left of him. You killed Iarno in a fight in the Redbrand’s hideout.

Mirna’s Heirloom – Though her family has nothing to offer as reward for saving them, Mirna tells the characters that she might know where a valuable heirloom is hidden. When she was a young girl, she and her family fled from the town of Thundertree after undead overran the place. Her family had an herb and alchemy shop, sinside which a case containing an emerald necklace was hidden beneath a section of storage shelves. She never dared to return and retrieve it.

Finding Wave Echo Cave – A charmed bugbear revealed the location of Wave Echo Cave, a magical area with a legendary forge. But exactly the Black Spider is doing there is still unknown.
